The CSI Continuous Improvement Collaborative is a year-long fellowship opportunity for CSI school teams to focus on identifying and addressing gaps within their school communities. Participating teams will deepen their knowledge in continuous improvement tools and practices, connect with a peer network of school teams, strengthen their team structures, and receive individualized coaching and mentorship.

  • Who: School teams of 2-5 participants. At least one member of the team must be in a school leadership (decision-making) role.
  • What: Two full day in-person sessions (September and May), monthly virtual meetings and coaching sessions (2 hours/month).
  • Cost: CSI has received a grant to cover the costs of all participants, including covering the travel costs of teams coming from outside the Denver metro.
  • Outcome: Teams will develop a focus area and implementation plan over the course of the year, culminating in presenting their plan to a panel of peers.

Past teams have focused on a wide variety of topics, including addressing achievement gaps for students with an IEP, implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and increasing family engagement. The Collaborative is intentionally flexible and develops the capacity of participants to implement continuous improvement frameworks within their schools.
