LEGAL AND POLICY
The CSI Legal and Policy Team offers general legal and policy support to CSI schools, manages the charter contract process, monitors compliance of CSI schools, and develops and revises CSI policies.
Primary Areas of Focus
General Legal and Policy Support is provided to CSI Schools throughout the year via training, webinars, and issuing written guidance and sample policies.
School Contract development, negotiation, execution, and amendments are overseen by the Legal and Policy Department for new and existing CSI schools.
CSI Policies are regularly reviewed and updated to adhere to legal requirements and best practices and further CSI’s mission and vision.
Compliance Monitoring is used to identify areas of noncompliance and to assist CSI Schools in becoming compliant in line with the CSI School Compliance Policy.
