Homeschool Guidance

CSI schools serving homeschool students—whether through a formal part-time homeschool program or by opening up certain courses to homeschool students on a less-than full-time basis—should carefully consider the legal, financial, operational, and governance implications of those programs. Schools should review requirements related to funding eligibility, tuition and fees, state reporting, assessments, special populations and student services, student health, geographic boundaries, and participation in extracurricular and interscholastic activities.
